Welcome back, to you all. As we enter a brand new year, we are going to be the busiest we have been in a very long time.

Already we have started with a great opportunity to film a special project with British Gymnastics. Of course we will give you more details when the release date is sent over to us. 

We have also opened an online shop, you can buy our latest training and competition apparel whenever you like.

Please complete your applications before the midnight deadline on the 20th November. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered for a grant.

We have new start times in the week. Due to changes that have been made to the school recently, it has meant that our start and fninshing times have to be adjusted.

​

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday sessions now start at 5:10 pm, gymnasts that participate for the full two hours, now will finish at 7:10 pm. Saturdays are not affected by any time changes. If you have any questions please contact us via email, staff are currently on Summer break, however, we will get back to you as soon as we can to answer any queries.

British Gymnastics 2022-2023 is now due. Renewals or new members can join now. Current members will receive an email from British Gymnastics to renew.

If you are a new Flying Angels Gymnastics Club member but had a membership with another club, please update your primary club as Flying Angels Gymnastics Club on GymNet.

When you join Flying Angels Gymnastics Club, your membership starts from the FIRST day of your sign-up date until the end of the academic year, membership lasts from October current year to September the following year, which is annual. You will be asked to renew in August by British Gymnastics, however, we will collect payments in July, before the term ends. 

So to be clear Membership is valid from your FIRST date of training (Sign up date), until the September of that year. More information can be found under the ABOUT tab in the menu, click on BEING A MEMBER. We hope that this information is helpful to those who have questions about the membership time frame.

We have updates that could cause some dispruptions to our training sessions this Summer.

Firstly it is exam season, and this could mean that sessions could start in the dance studio. Exams start on the 17th of May 2022 and will carry on into June.

We are awaiting confirmation of school closure for the Queen's Jubilee. It is very likely that we will be closed during that time period. Please look out for emails to make sure you are current with the latest information.

​

The school will also be closed to the public for a school graduation ceremony on the 8th of July 2022. 

​

We will update this post as soon as LA Active confirm the status of the Queen's Jubilee.

The gym will be closed on the 2nd and 3rd of June 2022 for the Queens Jubilee

It is nearly half way through the yer already, and we have so much happening.

We would like yo thank all the members who participated in our yearly odd sock week. You helped us raise a total of £36. Our goal is to raise money for new mats and to reupholster our current safety/crash mats. The next fundraiser starts today for the week, 10th - 14th May 2022, which is our monthly bake sale. All monies raised goes towards new equipment.

Good luck to Eden, Cayden, Caylen, Tambai, and Gino for this weekends SAADI MAG Championships competition, on the 15th May 2022. This will be the boys first competition. Team Angels is completely behind you.

Neon Competition (GG) - 19th June 2022, with the closing date of invited competitors on the 20th May 2022, no late entries will be accepted, payment details can be found on the letter provided via email.

Happy Easter everyone,

we hope everyone is getting a well-rested break. We started off the year with our first competition in 2 years with WAG Regional Grades, with both Maisie and Alex passing their Grade 4.

We also had our first parent week since the pandemic and had such wonderful feedback.

On Tueday 11th January 2022, a mini promotional video will be fimed to showcase Lamberh Academy facilities. The videographer will be at a distance so will not affect our training session.

​

In accordance with our child protection policy, LA Active will not permit photographs, video or other images of young people to be taken without consent. If the child is under 16, consent must be obtained from a parent / carer. 

​

[LA Active Life] will take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes for which they are intended. If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately, please inform us immediately.

​

Consent forms will be emailed out to Tuesday participants to fill out before filming commences.

​

We would like to thank LA Active for including us in this great promotion.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the parents, caregivers, family members and friends who came to our annual Christmas Display. The gymnasts were amazing, well done to everyone who paricapated. We are so proud of them all. Also, we had some former members come to see the show, it was so lovely to see some old faces. A highlight vidoe will be availble soon on our YouTube channel, so look out for it in the near future.

There is so much anticipation for 2022's Christmas Display, we just cannot wait. The next one is 3rd December 2022, make a note in the diary so you don't miss out.

​

Our next event will be parent week in February/March 2022. Dates will be confirmed closer to the time.

It is that time of year again where our gymnasts get to showcase some fun routines for family and friends for Christmas. It is such an exciting time.

We cannot wait for the display, it was 2019 since the last one, so this has been long-awaited. For tickets, timings and costume information, please check it out below.

Unfortunately, we have no gymnastic sessions on Saturday 13th November 2021. This is due to exams in the sports hall. Sorry for the inconvenience, this is completely out of our control. Training will resume as normal the following week.

For the next two months we have a few things happening. So let's get you up to date.

​

From the 19th - 22nd October, we have our monthly bake sale, last mother we made just over £200. Thank you so much for your donations. This has helped us with our new trampette surround to make it safe to use again.

​

Halloween week is from the 26th - 30th October. We know some of our gymnasts go away during this time, but we hope if you are still here that gymnasts will join in on the fun all week. All monies raised will be for repairs and new mini apparatus.

​

We finally have dates for parents week. From the 9th - 13th November we will be inviting parents to sit in and watch their children's gymnastics session. This would usually be before Easter time, but because of the global pandemic unfortunately we could not do this at the beginning of the year. But it is now safe enough to do it.

​

Squads will be participating in a controlled competition on the 27th of November. Parents will be formally notified. Times to be confirmed.

​

We had very high number of members and non-members enquiring about summer camps this year. Unfortunately the space we use is unavailable due to being booked in advanced.

​

We are however looking forward to our camps coming back in 2022. More information will be announced shortly.

Thank you for thinking of us as your first choice for gymnastics camps. It will be worth the wait. Early Bird bookings will be available, as well as different booking options. Look out for more information coming very soon.

The last day of training before summer break is Saturday 24th July 2021, and we return on Tuesday 7th September 2021. We hope everyone enjoys their summer, it is well deserved. While away durring the summer we have the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which you can follow on our special page right here on our website, where there will be updates of schedules, results and even videos once uploaded to YouTube.

Fees will be sent during summer break for the Autumn term 2021-2022, so look out for that, and if there are any changes to emails, please let the club know as soon as possible. Fees will include the annual membership, so please keep that in mind. To avoid loss of place or late charges please try to pay before the first day of your child(rens) session.

​

We also want to thank all of our members for all the support through 2020-21. It's been a tough time, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. We look forward to seeing everyone again in September. Have a wonderful summer. Keep checking back for the newest and latest news.
