Interested in becoming a gymnastics coach?
Volunteering is a great way to gain experience in the sport and also looks fantastic on a CV. Flying Angels Gymnastics Club welcome volunteers/work experience students into our classes throughout the year and many of these go on to do their first qualification and become coaches. Volunteers can come into the gym from Monday – Saturday to work alongside paid members of staff and assist in the running of pre-school General and our Recreational classes.
Flying Angels Gymnastics Club also have a My Leadership Academy in place. The academy, made up of volunteers, meet regularly to discuss volunteering and fundraising opportunities.

Looking for Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Assistant Coaches
-Level 1 Coach
-Level 2 Coach
-Level 3 Coach
Hours: 2 hours minimum with the boy’s squads 18 hours maximum coaching, plus some Sundays may be required for extra training sessions and competitions.
The job requires coaching Recreation, General and Pre-School classes. Evening and weekends work will be required. Weekend classes are from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm, however timetables of groups will depend on start and finish times.
Job opportunities are also available for non-qualified coaches.
Assistant gymnastics coach to boy’s development squads but as and when required additional hours to be worked with our Pre-School and Recreational classes. General housekeeping duties will be expected.
It is preferred that the applicant will have a British gymnastics level 2 coaching award in men’s gymnastics however a level 1 may be acceptable depending on coaching experience.
It is preferable the applicant has experience in coaching boys from age 5 years upwards.
